Above all, it is a story of borders and our interaction with them.
Kārlis traded an office for the open road at 28. He skated from North Cape to Gibraltar, cycled to Sochi in the middle of winter, and then spent eight years going around the world with nothing but oars and pedals.
Everything here is made to order and carries a small piece of that road. Pick what you like.

The story
Around the world by oars and pedals
2016 · South Atlantic Rowed from Namibia to Brazil with Gints Barkovskis in 141 days. The first team ever to row the South Atlantic, and the crossing behind the documentary Okeāna saviļņotie.
2018 · South America Pedalled a tandem bike 5,400 km from Brazil to Lima, Peru.
2018–2020 · Pacific Ocean Rowed alone from Peru to Malaysia aboard Linda. The first person to row from South America to Asia.
2022 · Indian Ocean Rowed from Malaysia to Somalia in 155 days. The first person to row from Asia to Africa.
2024 · Africa Rowed into Kenya, then cycled 5,000 km home to Namibia. On 4 April 2024 the loop was closed.
Kārlis passed away in November 2025, aged 40. This store keeps his story moving.
