Kārlis’ Boat Linda at RIX Riga Airport
For almost two months now, an exhibition bringing together Kārlis’ boat “Linda” and photographs by Kristīne and Kristaps Liepiņš has been on display at Riga Airport, in the passenger area (after security), on the way to the C gates.
Kārlis once said: “I didn’t row this far to only row this far!”
About moving forward. About the courage to set off on a journey! And where better for these two ideas to come together than at our airport’s “Territory of Courage” exhibition? Turns out, the boat’s journey doesn’t end with the oceans!
Thank you, RIX Riga Airport, for giving “Linda” – Kārlis’ home, friend, and trusted companion – the chance to meet travellers and remind them that the world is so much bigger than the borders we set in our minds!
