Bored of Borders

The morning started by finding anti-podal points no.3 and no.2. Both were located in fairly freely accessible places. Well, ok, to reach No. 2 I had to “dive” into a bit of a swampy jungle. While standing in the water and waiting for the transmitter to locate the satellites and transmit the holy coordinates, I remembered a horror story from Thailand, what I’ve heard long time ago. Maybe it was even from Vietnam, but it’s not that important now. The important thing is that the story is about “worms” living in the water, who “infiltrate/gets in” behind the skin, while tourists are keeping their feet in the water during a river boat tour. ok, I hope you don’t read this before bed.
I “collected” a total of 3 anti-podal points and rolled down to Colombo. In the middle of the day, a local cyclist joined me for a while! Check out the steering wheel of his bike!!! My two-wheeled friend had a bum-pump and the tyre was slowly “disappearing to the better hunting grounds”. Had to buy new one. Arrived in Colombo in the evening and had a feeling of celebrating this day and ride. To my surprise, I quickly found vegan cafe @lucuma_vegan_cafe and the snicker tart, which was recommended by the owner, was mind-blowing!!💫
Tomorrow I’ll roll down to Galle, to the Navy base, where my beloved boat waits for me!🤍🌊

Rītu sāku ar pret-pola punktu nr.3 un nr.2. Abi atradās diezgan brīvi pieejamās vietās, ja neskaita, ka nr.2 sasniegšanai vajadzēja iebrist mazliet purvainā džunglī. Stāvot un gaidot, kad raidītājs uztvers satelītus un nosūtīs visu svētāko koordināti atcerējos par kaut kad sen dzirdētu šausmu stāstu no Taizemes. Varbūt tas pat bija no Vjetnamas, bet tas nav tik būtiski. Būtiski ir tas, ka stāsts ir par ūdenī dzīvojošiem “tārpiem”, kuri “ielien” aiz ādas, kamēr tūristi braucot ar laiviņu plunčā kājas ūdenī.  ok, es ceru, ka šo nelasiet pirms naktsmiera.

Savācu kopā 3 pret-polu punktus un aidā uz Kolombo. Pa dienas vidu man uz kādu laiciņu pievienojās vietejais riteņotājs! Iečekojat, kāda viņam ričuka stūre!!! Manam divripuļu draugam bija uzmetusies pumpa – riepa lēnām “lavījās uz labākiem medību laukiem”. Nācās iegādāt citu. Vakarā sasniedzot Kolombo jutos svinīgi. Tiešām tā, ka gribētu nosvinēt! Par pārsteigumu ātri atradu vegan kafejnīcu @lucuma_vegan_cafe un tā snikera tarte, ko ieteica īpašniece nonesa jumtu

Rīt ripoju lejā uz Galli, uz jūras spēku bāzi pie manas mīļās laiviņas
